A little roundup of the lovely objects that have been literring my room the past week. I'm off to see Crystal Castles tonight (!!) and my excitement has prevented me from posting something more substantial, but I think you'll find something you like in the mishmash of things below.
I think the award for tackiest Value Village find goes to me. I don't know what possessed me to buy such a thing but I figured if I'm going to blow my nose this winter season I might as well do it as Marie Antoinette did.
My love of Adrian Lyne's film version of this story is well documented but progress on the book itself is slow and steady. I've had far too much schoolwork to catch up with before I can fully immerse myself in Nabokov's Lolita. But the sixty or so pages I've read thus far are enough to convince me to hurry up with my labs and essay writings.
I still haven't taken the haircut plunge but in the meantime this Moroccan Oil is saving what little dignity I have left in my strands. I was too apprehensive to buy the larger bottle (re: poor) but this mini bottle packs enough punch.
And last but not least meet Albert Einstein, my desktop companion in all my studies of neuroscience and the speed at which proteins travel in our blood stream. Riveting stuff, I know, and I think Albert agrees.
Also a big thank you to Pearl & Butler for featuring me in their October blog round up. I really thought my Halloween makeup would scare readers away but its nice to know some of you liked it!
xx, T
