Age eight I was all about denim capris ... light wash, slightly flared below the knees. The best pair sported an embroidered butterfly placed ever so elegantly on the bum pocket. Those are now in storage, to embarrass a daughter in the distant future, but I can still appreciate the functionality of a half-pant. Tomas Maier does a brilliant take in his Resort 2015 collection. Not as flashy as butterflies but they will more than do.
